Vietnam MIC New regulation Circular 05/2019/TT-BTTTT

Vietnam MIC released Circular 05/2019/TT-BTTTT on July 9, 2019 to replace Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT - Regulations on list of products subjected to MIC Type Approval and Declaration of Conformity, and will come into force on September 1, 2019.
1. TAC and DoC granted based on expired standards shall be invalid from Sep 01, 2019. It means following products need to be retest on new standars.
  • LTE mobile phone and LTE terminal device:New RF standard QCVN 117:2018/BTTTT for LTE should replace QCVN 47:2015/BTTTT after July 1, 2019, now extend to Sep 1, 2019
  • W-CDMA FDD Repeater
  • W-CDMA FDD Base statio
  • Marine EPIRB
  • Walkie-Talkie with integrated antenna for speech
  • Walkie-Talkie with integrated antenna for speech and text message.
2. Firewall, server, router, gateway, switch without radio functions are now exempted from DoC requirement.
3. Remove requirement on DVB-T of QCVN 63:2013/BTTTT.
4. Remove requirement on transportation UN 38.3 of QCVN 101:2016/BTTTT in comparison to existing requirements.
Remark: New EMC standard QCVN 118:2018/BTTTT (equal to CISPR 32:2015) has been implemented already from July 1, 2019 and has replaced TCVN 7189:2009 (CISPR 22:2006)及TCVN 7600:2010 (CISPR 13:2009) for ITE and MME.
