Saudi Arabia _Implementation of SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 and RoHS

SASO IEC 62368-1:2020
The implementation date of SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 (IEC 62368-1:2018) was 1 July 2021, but SASO (Saudi Standard, Metrology and Quality Organization) announced to postpone it to 1 Jan 2023.
Test reports issued by SASO IEC 62368-1:2017 (IEC 62368-1:2014) will be accepted until 30 December 2022.
RoHS
SASO (Saudi Standard, Metrology and Quality Organization) published Technical Regulations for Limiting Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Device on 9 July 2021.
The mandatory date for new electrical and electronic device is 5 January 2022.
Electrical and electronic device has been placed on the market but non-compliant to RoHS will be banned after 9 July 2022.
