DEKRA Suzhou facilities in China now IECEE CB Testing Laboratory

International expert organization DEKRA adds another facility to its network of IECEE accredited laboratories. DEKRA’s Suzhou facilities were recently approved as an IECEE CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL), creating exciting opportunities for manufacturers who use DEKRA’s testing and certification services.
The region of Suzhou in China, close to Shanghai, is famous for its proximity to one of the world’s manufacturing hotspots. Global as well as local players in IT, household appliances, medical products and industrial applications set the stage in a competitive environment. DEKRA’s newly recognized CBTL and accompanying services will help those manufacturers market their products around the globe with well-accepted CB services.
Manufacturers who export their electrical products around the world need to show that they comply with IEC standards. A CB report is proof that they meet these criteria and allows them to apply for other national certification marks from test houses affiliated with the IECEE.
