DEKRA Made a Return Visit to NTCG to Thank for the Support on New Headquarter Project

Stan Zurkiewicz, Executive Vice President DEKRA, visited New Taipei City Government to express the gratitude of the full support on DEKRA’s new headquarter project in Linkou.

For thanking the visit by New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi by the end of last year, and also expressing the gratitude of the full support on DEKRA’s new headquarter project in Linkou, on January 15th, Stan Zurkiewicz, Executive Vice President DEKRA, visited New Taipei City Government, with the companion of Aaron Lee, Deputy Head of DEKRA Taiwan, and Dave Wu, Finance Director of DEKRA Testing and Certification Co., Ltd., Taiwan.
The meeting focused on the new headquarter and full scale lab of DEKRA, which is now under construction and covers an area of 3,300 square meters. The participants including Mayor Hou, Deputy Mayor Wu Ming-ji, Commissioner of NTCG Economic Development Department Amy Ho, Deputy Commissioner of NTCG Economic Development Department Huang Pi-yu, Deputy Chief Engineer of Urban Redevelopment Task Force Office Hsieh Hui-chi, etc.
“DEKRA chose Taiwan as one of the most important locations for investment due to Taiwan’s critical position in ICT and electronic parts and components manufacturing industry, and we regard Linkou as the primary location to expand testing capabilities. Thus, we chose Linkou to establish our new headquarter. DEKRA does appreciate the continuous great help from NTCG to remove all obstacles during the process. ” said Stan Zurkiewicz, Executive Vice President DEKRA. “Nothing to say thanks, NTCG welcomes DEKRA to keep investing in New Taipei, we will do our utmost to assist in this project! ” said Mayor Hou with confidence. Deputy Mayor Wu Ming-ji was also quite positive in this project, and said NTCG team has found a solution to all the difficulties and obstacles of this project.
During the meeting, both sides also exchanged the opinions about the trend of 5G, IoT and IoV industry. Furthermore, Executive Vice President DEKRA Stan Zurkiewicz invited New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi, Deputy Mayor Wu Ming-ji and NTCG team to participate in the grand opening ceremony of the new headquarter in Linkou in the future.
