DEKRA Internet of Vehicles EMC laboratory in Taiwan recognized by General Motors

DEKRA is further expanding its range of testing services for the automotive industry. General Motors (GM) has recognized DEKRA’s Internet of Vehicles (IoV) laboratory for the testing of automotive related products in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The scope includes electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of electrical/electronic components and subsystems according to GMW3097 (2015 and 2019 versions).

The Hsinchu lab is focused on connectivity and EMC and Radio testing for the automotive industry to meet the growing demand of testing and certification services triggered by the new technology innovations in IoV, automated driving and e-mobility. This new recognition from GM strengthens DEKRA’s service portfolio for the automotive industry. The laboratory is one of a range of the state-of-the-art laboratories that DEKRA operates in East Asia and plays a key role in reinforcing DEKRA’s leading position in the automotive market in the region.
