Belarus: New technical regulation TR 2018/024/BY for Telecommunication devices

Effective date: 2019.1.1
  • New technical regulation TR 2018/024/BY requires local testing and factory inspection (or CIG023 or ISO 9001).
  • Declarations registered under previous regulation 849/2016 will be valid within the whole validity period indicated in the declaration.
  • Telecommunication devices listed in Annex I of TR 2018/024/BY are subject to CoC sheme, oversea manufacturers with CIG023 factory inspection report can be the applicant.
  • Telecommunication devices listed in Annex II of TR 2018/024/BY are subject to DoC sheme, only Belarus representatives can be the applicant, and factories need to be approved by ISO 9001.
  • Validity of CoC and DoC is 5 years.
  • Telecommunication devicesa approved under TR 2018/024/BY need to present TP BY logo on the product label.
